If so, then the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the right step for you to take. The RCIA is a process that consists of a combination of participation at Sunday Mass and instruction on the teachings and customs of the Roman Catholic Church. RCIA is also for baptized Catholics who have not received both First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The sessions meet once a week on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the lower rectory. Mass will be attended at Our Lady of Mount Carmel!  Adults that have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation are also invited to join our sessions. If you are seriously thinking of entering this program, please call the the Rectory and ask for Roe Walsh. For you to receive sacraments in 2019 you must call by Oct. 14th 2018.
